The vast number of mods that add items like the Master Sword, Hylian shield, and Majora's Mask shows just how high the demand is for Zelda content in Skyrim. The PC version of the game has modding tools, making it possible for players to create their own content. Though this is certainly big news for both the Legend of Zelda and Elder Scrolls franchise, this isn't the first time players have tried to insert elements of Zelda into the world of Skyrim.
Like the protagonist of Skyrim, the Hero of Time is a man of few words, which means that using Link won't seem strange or out-of-place at all. Also, having Link in Skyrim seems like a perfect choice since the character fits almost seamlessly into that world. Some have called Breath of the Wild Nintendo's Skyrim, due to the game's extremely positive reception, beautiful graphics, open world setting, and freedom to do whatever you want.
